Just for fun – Roseville Photographer

Went on little walk around the ‘hood today and brought my camera along.  SO VERY THANKFUL that the camera shop was open today since I kept getting an error code.  Seems it just needed a little cleaning, fingers crossed.  Later this evening I went to Old Roseville to get the last shot.  I was going to give up because hardly any cars were coming by and then a fleet of police cars came by with sirens…thanks RPD!  Hope everyone is doing well and hope you guys start booking sessions again soon because I’m ready to get back out there!  🙂

Sara – Roseville Maternity Photographer

I’ve been meaning to do more blogging during this break/quarantine.  This session was just a couple days before the stay at home order went in to effect.  I told Sara, I think we better move your session up or it’s not going to happen…and it’s a really good thing we did.  It was a beautiful evening and I really enjoyed meeting these two.

I’m so sorry to the people that have reached out for maternity pictures and I’ve had to say no.  It really breaks my heart.  I hope that at least the order is lifted in time to be able to do your newborn sessions.

Xavier – Roseville Newborn Photographer

I hope everyone is staying safe and staying home.  Now I have no excuse not to blog some sessions, right?  This is beautiful Xavier who came for a newborn session earlier this month.  She had the most beautiful head of hair.

I cannot wait to start photographing again, this has been the hardest part of quarantine for me.   I really miss my newborns!  This does give me time to organize the studio and get some things done around the house that have been put off.  Maybe I’ll do a post of the redecorating I’ve been doing to keep myself busy.

Happy Valentine’s Day from Sara Taylor Photography!

Sweet little Jordynn came back for her 6 month portraits.  I love when I get to see my newborns for their milestone sessions.  Time goes by so fast!  I love these rosy cheeks.

Shelby – Roseville newborn photographer

Get some tissues ready.

This is Shelby. Her daddy passed away before she was born. We did our best to honor his memory at her session and I think the images came out beautiful.

A little story. When Shelby and her mama (Jessa) and brothers arrived at my studio, mama was so overwhelmed. I found out later in the day it was because as she walked up to my home and saw a dragonfly stepping stone, and then saw my dragonfly tattoos…

Ever since her husband passed away, she has been seeing dragonflies everywhere. At her kids soccer game, there was a dragonfly pacing the field back and forth, just like her husband would do at the games. Another one appeared when she was stopped in the car. A neighbor came over to meet the baby and was wearing a shirt with dragonflies. A nurse at the hospital for a recent appointment had dragonfly earrings on. This newborn photosession was gifted to Jessa by a good friend and she had not had a chance to check out my website or my work. She had no idea that when she arrived she would see dragonflies, yet again. I think Ryan is looking over his family and sending comfort.

I’m so happy to have met you Jessa. I will continue to keep you and your family in my thoughts. You are an amazing woman, and I admire your strength.
